Friends of Royal Liberty
The Friends of Royal Liberty School are the school’s PTA. We are open to membership by any parents/carers of students who attend Royal Liberty and all staff.
Our main aims are to: arrange activities and events which will raise money to support the school and education of the students as well as benefit the boys.
Seeking and applying for external funding which may be available.
We hope to support the school and its community in any way we can.
The Friends have raised funds for playground table tennis tables and basketball hoops, leavers day provisions and social events. We recently agreed funding for trampolines, which will be a new sport to the school. Current plans, given the cost of living issues hitting parents and schools alike, are to look into external funding / match funding to enable our fundraising to stretch further and to hopefully procure a new laser cutter for the DT department.

The FRLS meet termly to plan events and propose fundraising opportunities. We welcome new members with new ideas – come along and join us! We appreciate time is precious and you may not want to commit but there are always ways to help whether it be on site as a full member or putting ideas forward. We are limited only by numbers and not by enthusiasm.

FUNDRAISING
We hold gift sales through the year where the boys can buy reasonably priced gifts for Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
We hope to extend our mini Christmas fair and sales day as we have a few more members this year and the boys really enjoyed some fun last year.
We hold Christmas and Easter raffles with hampers to win. These have been a big success.
If any parents have contacts or businesses that would like to donate or possibly match fund specific items or an amount of money please get in contact with us via our email below. We hope to help improve / update equipment in different departments as we can.
PRE LOVED UNIFORM
We also take donations of pre-loved uniform. This can be dropped into the school reception and marked for the attention of the Friends (washed please). Parents and carers can then purchase uniform at a pre-loved rate on our UNIFORMD page. www.uniformd.co.uk/royallibertyschool
