At the Royal Liberty School 1963-1970
Though his initial academic success at O-Level was considerable, Kevin was unfortunate to miss out on offers to read Geography at university in 1971. On receipt of A-Levels in Maths and Physics, with results that didn't reflect Kevin's initial academic promise, he returned to the Royal Liberty School to take an additional Chemistry A-Level with a view to training as a pharmacist. A chance encounter with a boy in his school year, who had been sponsored to study Quantity Surveying at university, provided Kevin with the opportunity to build upon the foundations built during his time at Royal Liberty.
Kevin went to to study Quantity Surveying at Aston University, going to to take professional qualifications with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. From here he never looked back forging a successful career as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
"I have never looked back from this having now completed a very good, rewarding career as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. The message from me has to be - if an opportunity comes along, grab it and give it one hundred percent!
We all need some luck at the right time but you are at the centre of what you can achieve for yourself and for the others around you."
